CIDDNN Meeting minutes May 26, 2009

Meeting attendees:  Deb, Colleen, Ginny, Melinda, & Gina. 

We met at Abilities Plus in Kewanee.  Colleen Usrey was our hostess.

Old business was discussed and accepted. 

Secretary's report contained herein.  Treasurers report was updated and we did better than expected at the conference.  In a time of budget cuts and a struggling economy we thought we may take a loss hosting the conference, but that wasn't the case.  We just barely broke even but still a great conference and well worth the hard work of those involved in the event.  Please provide feedback as we continue to evolve.  Please encourage other nurses to join. 

We had a conference call with Kathy Brown, Vice President of National DDNA to discuss the benefits of becoming a chapter.  All voted in favor of beccoming a chapter and an officers meeting will be held April 7th to complete the application and make a plan for implementation of extra benefits of being a chapter.

National CDDN conference for 2010 will be in Reno Nevada!  Please plan to attend.  The dates are May 15th through 18th 2010. 

Speaker to discuss GI issues and appliances.  1.5 CEUs
